God Wants Lovers

"This ministry has been a blessing to take part in simply because it is nothing more than an overflow of our love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, His Kingdom and His people. We are so very blessed to be able to live our lives serving the Lord and shouting praises unto him. The following is a quote from a missionary to India that was involved in rescuing young girls out of the bondage of temple slavery. Her quote captures what it takes to be a powerful servant of God wholely.

"God wants lovers. Oh, how tepid is the love of so many who call themselves by His name How tepid is our own-my own- in comparison with the lava fires of His eternal love. I pray that you may be an ardent lover, the kind of lover who sets others on fire." - Amy Carmichael

2nd annual "Save a Generation 5k run" is coming up on May 12th 2012 beginning at 10:00am at Central Park-Ashland, Ky. We were so blessed to be able to help place 7 people into recovery programs with funds raised from last year's 5k run. Now, this year we are raising money for operational costs of our addiction resource center located in the Boyd County Courthouse as well as recovery scholarships. Every donation that we receive will be matched dollar for dollar by an independent donor so what you give matters!!

Special thanks to Rep. Rocky Adkins who will be attending to help give out awards and to speak about Operation U.N.I.T.E coming to Boyd County in January of 2013.
